Has anyone asked you why you're learning about "old" technology? I'm "the CICS guy" at our shop. IBM Policy on automatic software updates. Note that the plug-ins can no longer be downloaded directly. Credentials are asked for when they are needed, which is when you try to connect, although they can be created beforehand and associated with connections.

Hmm… so service and support news on the web, available via a feed, plus the Explorer… bingo! I am assuming the update instructions for IM are in the document you cice to. Recently I was able to dedicate a few days to it, and with the assistance of a colleague who had already been through it, I was able to get the ball rolling.

I know that you are completely snowed under so apologies for contacting you - is there any chance you would be able to review the CICS Explorer download page for me as I need to be able to set it to publish before I head off - ah right that is absolutely fab.

It was fiddly, and folks didn't usually give that many stars in feedback forms for what they felt about the whole process.

Although it isn't totally clear I have to admit. Follow theCICSguy on twitter here. No results were found for your search query.
